About the Brand
AITW Media LLC, operating under the brand "Alina in the Wild," is a multifaceted creative agency based on the Big Island of Hawai’i. Our business specializes in media solutions, including photography, videography, creative direction, producing, copywriting, and sustainable practices consulting.
With a strong commitment to ethical and diverse productions, community engagement, and environmentally conscious marketing, we aim to capture the beauty, cultural significance and history of Hawai’i while contributing positively to the local community.

Owner - AITW Media
Alina Abramovich is a Hawai’i based conservationist and creative with a passion for sustainability, social justice and collaborative storytelling. As a writer, producer, photographer and model she has worked with numerous clients including Nike, Olukai, Title Nine, Departures, Road Runner, Kamperett, Koru, Atlas Surfboards, Honubelle, XIX Palms, Purple Mai’a, and Fairmont.
Alina graduated with High Honors from the University of Hawai’i with a Bachelor’s of Science in Marine Science. She then spent the next three years working as a Conservation Specialist for the State of Hawai’i under the Natural Resource Conservation Services. Previously, Alina had attended the University of Southern California and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, graduating with a degree in Film and Theatre.
A “Jane of all Trades”, Alina is a passionate waterwoman with years of boating and ocean safety experience, a surfer, runner, paddler, translator, educator, agency-signed model, and a dog mom. She is fluent in Russian, English and French and dabbles in conversational Spanish. Her writing has been published on lifestyle blogs, as well as in Hohonu Academic Journal, Seawords and the Daily Trojan. She is currently working on her debut novel, “Island in the Center of the Sea”.

Ian Michael Kupa’a McVeigh was born and raised on Hawai’i Island and has familial ties to Maui. As a proud Hawaiian, Ian has a deep-rooted connection to the ocean and the islands, and has a passion for promoting accurate and inclusive representation of the islands and Hawaiian culture.
Ian is a distinguished Water Safety Officer, and has had a career marked by numerous award-winning rescues - a testament to his dedication to water safety and his skills as a seasoned waterman.
Ian has long held a passion and talent for surfing, surf photography, and travel. At AITW Media, he serves as an assistant photographer, production assistant, and drone operator.
His expertise, attention to detail and keen eye enhance the company’s ability to capture breathtaking imagery while telling authentic stories that serve the community and brands.
We at AITW Media are fortunate to have a network of amazing, contracted creatives we love to work with, both on the Hawaiian Islands and Internationally. From smaller, local scale photoshoots to large, full-service productions, we are confident that our team will bring your vision to life.
Our passions for conservation and storytelling are at the core of all deliverables, and we strive to elevate diverse voices and perspectives in all of our partnerships. We aim to help productions access local talent and help contribute to the island economy is a way that is less exploitative and insular. We strive to research and connect with up-and-coming small businesses and partner with them on projects so as to create a collaborative and lasting network of partnerships across the islands.
